RandomOrange – Camp Spot at WHY Hackercamp
Welcome to RandomOrange – a shared village at WHY2025 organized by the people from Randomdata (hackerspace) and OrangeCon (security conference). We’re setting up a friendly space where people can gather, relax, share food.thoughts and connect throughout the event.
What to Expect
At RandomOrange, we’ll have:
- An awesome logo
- A large tent (2 * 5x5 meters)
- A medium tent (5x5 meters, thanks to S-Unit)
- Another medium tent (5x5 meters, thanks to Access 42)
- A fully equipped kitchen (thanks to Agarri)
- Tables and chairs
- A fridge for cold drinks
- Gadgets, stickers, and some fun surprises
- Some music
- Boardgames
- A welcoming atmosphere for hanging out, hacking, and conversations
Whether you're into security, hardware, or just looking for a place to sit and chat, you're welcome to join us.

We're combining forces to bring a mix of creativity, curiosity, and community to the camp.
Who Brings What?
The main components of the village have been sorted out, thanks to our sponsors and our orga crew. That includes four 5x5 tents, a kitchen and many smaller items. However, we rely on YOU for smaller things (including good mood ;-). Please add yourself to the following table, so we can track what is missing or duplicate.
Notes:
- if multiple persons bring similar items (for example karts or cables), simply duplicate the corresponding lines.
- we will provide plates and cutlery (plastic and/or bamboo), but not any many as we may need. So feel free to bring your own by preference!
Lighting cannot be underestimated! Considering the tents have a white plastic roof, 4 uplighter sun-strength floodlights would be great. Dimmable would be even better... For decoration, christmas light strings are also nice.
