CFP Tracks Outline is OK. Exact wording needs to be figured out. The actual CFP should be short. But we can make a more elaborate blog post explaining the tracks and our visions behind it in more details.

Wiki Roles Kirils will put the roles on the wiki.

Budget

• Projectleiding is already working on booking bungalows/trailers for guests
• Team: Finance has penciled us in for € 35k, comparing to last time that is probably enough. But then we could only start spending it late in the process, so it was not utilized that much.
• Do we want to pay all speakers? - no we can't. Budget is for special cases/speakers.
• We need to budget for portofoons (walkie/talkie), because likely Team:Radio doesn't cover it.
• A dedicated golfcart would be best to cart around speakers

Fred & Reviewers:

• Chantal talked to him, he agreed to be a blind reviewer
• Call out in the all-hands orga meet: that we need blind reviewers and people can put their name in the hat.

Pretalx

• Sysadmin has a testversion online. Need to be moved to Produtction Environment

Guests we want to reach out to

• We need to keep a list of people that are cool that we want to invite. A few are mentioned below. We need to figure out how to contact and who will do it
• We need to decide on who we want to actually invite

Wat er verder ter tafel komt (What else is mentioned)

• WHY will be parralel with DefCon. Maybe we want a 'Portal' between the events. Does that work out timezone wise? Does it have an added value?
• Ideas for guests or cool ideas to be put on the agenda pad for eacht next meeting can be also put on the mailing list. Ideas are welcomed from all team members.

Talk Streams WHY 2025:

We Highly Yearn Content! But what kind of content? Well here are some categories or streams that we will create: [we yarn/threads? -there are some potential knitting jokes here]

Keep in mind that these streams/threads are rough outlines. Your talk doesn’t need to fall neatly into exactly one category. It may overlap, it may go out of bounds. The WHY Fahrplan is not a memorysafe system: so overflow that stack any way you want

• Wonderful creations: Have you built something cool? Did an in depth

analysis, created the most fabulous explanation of the most difficult or misunderstood things, or a great piece of art?

• Hacking: Did you break something? Did you fix it? Or did you fix it by

breaking it, or was it the other way around? This can include software, hardware, and humanware.

• Yearn for a better future: Discuss ethics, society, politics, privacy

improving oneself or help uplift others.

• The square hole: For ideas that don’t fit in the other categories but

you think are cool to share. Everything fits in the square hole!

WHY 2025 Will also have two categories that can contain all of the above, you can submit your proposal purely for these categories or you can double up you talk and do it twice, once regular and once in these tracks:

• Foundation: We want to grow our culture and welcome new people who

might just be making their first steps into the scene, or are side stepping into new areas that they want to explore. Teach and be welcoming.

• Kids: ELIF (or older, say 10?) Give your presentation in a shorter

version (5-10 minutes?) and explain it to our youngest hackers in the family village. - "Explain it like I'm 7 year old, but now for real."
