Budget wishlist
I [Janneke] did some digging into what I spent for content during MCH2022: - Budget for banners for the tents and stages and signage for specific stages +/- 600 euro for MCH2022, I would budget about 750 for that now [Janneke] - Budget for renting furniture for speaker tent, for MCH2022 I ordered 712,30 euros worth of bean-bags. So If we would want a little more, I would budget for double that (1500 euros) (for decorating both the tent and getting furniture, I'd be willing to pick this up, team deco will be busy enough) [Janneke]

We Highly Yearn Content! But what kind of content? Well here are the streams that we will create at WHY2025 We yearn to have the following content streams at WHY2025:
Keep in mind that these streams are outlines. Your talk doesn’t need to fall neatly into one category. It may overlap, it may go out of bounds. The WHY Fahrplan program? is not a memory safe system: so overflow that stack any way you want.
Wonderful creations: This stream is all about the things that you have created. It is WHY’s show-and-tell. That can be something you’ve built. A framework you’ve created. An in depth analysis of an interesting subject or created the most fabulous explanation of difficult and misunderstood things. It can even be about the art that you made. I am a bit confused about the last two sentences and it feels like we don't take art seriously so I suggest: It can be about something you’ve built. A framework you’ve created. Hacking: Did you break something? Did you fix it? Or did you fix it by breaking it, or was it the other way around? Hacking is using something in a way it was not meant to and we tack this category in a broad sense Hacking involves using something in a way it was not intended, and we take this term in a broad sense: it can be software, hardware, and humanware all the same.
Yearn for a better future Do you want to improve our society, or yourself, influence others to self-improvement. In the Yearning stream we will have talks on ethics, privacy, politics, society and economics. Improve oneself or help uplift others. Add mental health?
The square hole: If your idea doesn’t fit in any of the categories above, but you think it will be cool to share at WHY, then remember that every shape fits into the square hole.
WHY2025 will also have two talk categories streams? that overlap with some of the thematic streams, you can submit your proposal purely for these categories streams or you can double and present your talk twice, once regular -regular? in the regular streams or as a foundational or kids level:
Foundation: We want to grow the hacking community and welcome new people who might just be making their first steps into the scene, or are side stepping into new areas that they want to explore. Foundation is the place where we welcome and teach people with little prior knowledge but a lot of motivation.
Kids: Explain It Like I’m Five, but for real. Challenge yourself and present your talk to our youngest hackers in the family village. In a format, time domain and level that is appropriate for primary school children.

Milliways: - We need to know the plan (content: cybersecurity, high quality or specifically made for the circus, 300? seats) - We will need to know as soon as possible (preferably before the 1st of july) - And what is expected from team:content - Milliways wants to do their own reviewing of the cfp's (conflict?) - Not everyone wil be good for that stage, not everyone will want to be in the circus - if only 300 seats, that will be a problem with people that want to see the speaker - Recording: audience will be in the recording.
Cfp - Will be revised, and send around. Please give feedback asap
Speaker wishlist - Question: political speakers, where do we stand? Yes or no? What are the boundaries. Examples: Fox-IT people, intelligence services? Needs to align with the code of conduct.
