partytent 3x3 x 2
tent 6 x 4
tent 2 x 3
tent 2 x 3 +
during day time we have some music, but overall we wanna be on the more silent side of the camp (ppl got older and last ccc camp close to gerafl we did not enjoy :-) so we wanna be able to sleep during the night)
The last few camps we had always very nice contact and activities with our neighbors, so we are kind of relaxed and open. +

This village is from on of the sponsors (BIT). With the sponsorteam we agreed on bringing a bus, instead of WHY2025 supplying us with a sponsor tent. We did buy a camperticket for the bus. The bus with tent attached is 10 by 6,5 meters. Apart from that we'll bring some smaller tents for sleeping. A floorspace of 150 to 200 square meters for the village seems fine. +
- Will bring gas-fired (Tüv tested) pizza oven (@Fire)
- May bring 2m tall QFH satellite antenna
- May bring a pavillion-type foldable tent
- Will bring CEE blue camping plug (230V). If we can only plug in using Schuko, please let us now. +

We are also a sponsor, Prefix Broker gets a 5x10 tent from the sponsor package and is donating it to this village.
We would like the Ukraine tents opposite of the party area bar (to the west of the terrace area) so that it is close to Area 42/DIVD village wich helps to man the stand.
We also want to put up a 3mx4m movie screen next to the tent facing the bar terrace and show nerd movies there in the evenings/nights when the party area goes silent so people can watch from the terrace. +
We have a really cool installation with a UV rack bar and two large Cisco routers, so we enjoy being placed where there is a lot of foot traffic. We had a smaller setup at MCH2022 and a more "true to size" setup at CCC2023 but we're bringing the full setup to WHY2025, so expect two full size cisco routers + lots of insanity.
We are quite loud so also prefer not to be placed next to a stage with talks.
We intentionally want to be placed with BORNHACK as they are also loud.
We request
1x 32A (important, we share this with bornhack)
1x Internet (RJ45 or Fiber, we can handoff 1gbit/10gbit/100gbit SFP)
1x field phone connection, we are bringing field phone
1x ADSL/VDSL handoff if possible +
Power: we need a 3 phase 63A connection. we will make sure this is properly distributed on the village. +
at least 10 individual tents and one big tent (10*5M) provided by the organisation (sponsorcommittee) +
plus 3 party shelter tents
benches, tables (workshop space) +
B
We want to bring a vintage pinball machine from 1973. a bit heavy and vulnerable. We would like to enter the terrain with a trailer.
Also our village will bring 2 tent trailers if possible. One is part of the 80s decor. +
Preferably located near the [[village:fri3d]] and the [[village:squirrel (Brussels)]] as we're all friends and sharing a lot of resources. It would be a pity to have to cart stuff across camp or to not be able to deploy some infrastructure/projects due to excessive distance.
The requirements mentioned here (power/floorspace) only refers to this village (Batavus On Tour), and take into account the length of the bus plus the space needed on the side for the sun shade. Preferably, the right side of the bus should be facing south.
Power-wise, i can bring a 3x400V+N 32A distribution box with a 20m extension cord to share the load for the whole Belgium cluster. +
We're not bringing a tent or anything, we're identifiable by our Birkenhack hats, and we'll be roaming around the camp, inhabiting other people's villages mainly! We're just putting our presence here so people know we exist :D +
We would like the village to be placed in the corner by the two busy roads to get lots of traffic coming by. +
We'll be roughly dumbbell shaped - two big circular tents (8m and 9m diameter) with a small connecting tarp between them.
I realized I picked a location on the camper parking side of the road. Some of our folks (Jakeblue) will arrive with a camper, so being able to put up our tent at least close to camper parking would be nice, and bonus points if Jakeblue can have a camper spot close to our tent too ;) Not demanding, just asking - your Tetris job is hard enough already, thanks for doing this <3 +
We will be approx 16 peoples and we would love to be placed next to the flying saucer on the map, somewhere in between the loud and the quiet spaces, above Track Andromeda +
C
A relatively obscure village containing some Grumpy Old Hackers which can be considered single malt whisky aficionados, that are not too greedy to share a taste of the good stuff (But if you only want to get wasted, we will tell you to go to the bar and order your own stuff!) +
Chaos Post itself will be part of the info tent. +
We make animal noises and some music, we have some demosceners and maybe want to host small compo together. Most villagers have small tents, there is one towable tent, partly used for the village and to sleep in. We have a party tent as well. +
Regarding the 25m^2 for this village:
The tent has a footprint of around 15m^2, it's 3.5m x 4.5m (+ any hooks and lines on either side of course, maybe an extra 50cm to 1 m), with the entrance being on the 3.5m side.
We don't mind being between other tents from our cluster, we would just like to have some space in front of the tent to be able to get in/out easier :)
But would also suffice if in the front there is like a 2m wide corridor between the other tents.
Hopefully this info helps you during placement c: +
