Introduction
On-site Logistics is responsible for all transport of materials (not people) on the terrain. We will do this by hand, handcart, bike, golfcart or forklift. We do not transport stuff for villages or visitors. Additionally this team coordinates everything that is rented from Boels.
Logistics operates some heavy material that is potentially lethal. Therefor this is an exclusive team with regard to forklift drivers. This means you can not be in any other team. Forklift drivers are pre-selected, and trained before the event(obliged). Nobody else will be allowed to drive forklifts during the event (tent-builder-companies exempted). Fork-lift drivers are expected to be available from early build-up to late tear-down and the work starts as early as 06:30. This is not the team for you if you like to chill-out until late (although we can accomodate some off-time during the event). As this is a heavy hard working team, we will pay extra attention to your well-being and take good care of you. And you get to drive nice forklifts of course.
Beside drivers we also need some (core-)volunteering hands for some manual lifting, assisting forklift drivers, maintaining safety and/or delivering of small goods by gator.
