Name Trivia

The name NUTS refers to the Dutch word ‘nutsvoorziening’, which is a company operating, often from a monopoly position, in a sector considered to be of public utility because it provides important products or services that are in the public interest.

As you can see we have quite a full team. so for the moment no new members needed

INFO

Confirmed, 1000 kVA transformer is located on the terrain, goal is to only use this transformer as the single source for all power. Means a lot of thick cabling (240mm2 multiple km's) and try to retap the transformer to a + 5% voltage tap (If available on transformer) long runs (parking of remote villages by means of solar/battery storage.

Battery Power

For WHY Ampowr generously sponsored a battery, that we plan on using for specific peak demand.

a 10feet shipping container, reading the word "Ampowr".

With this battery, capable of storing 425kWh, we have an additional capacity of 200kW available. Or to put it differently: It can run a cluster of 22k Pi 4's running hot, for a few hours. The chemistry is LiFePO4 (Class 9- Lithium batteries). The battery unit has climate control and an integrated fire-suppression system.

EV Charging

No visitor charging will be possible on the terrain, however to facilitate transport a charging area for Team:Shuttle will be available, so that visitors can be picked up with the BEV vans.
