Dependencies
- TODO: Other teams needed?
- TODO: Permits required?
- TODO: Power in watts?
- TODO: Network? Private network required?
Status
- TODO:
- cut the 4m pipes for greenhouse test
- paint pipes
- make a 3D render for the decor to check features.
- cut the parts for the decor.
Howto: Prepare
- TODO: Is there a part in the preparation process that can be performed in parallel by a group of volunteers?
- TODO: Do volunteers require a specific set of skills?
- TODO: How many volunteers over how many hours are required?
- TODO: Is the preparation bound to a specific location?
- TODO: How much space is required to store the project before it is moved to the event site?
TODO: Describe the manufacturing process in the highest level of detail.
Howto: Buildup
- TODO: Where is the stuff stored?
- at my apartment
- TODO: Should Team Logistics be involved in moving the project to the event site?
- yes, it's quite a volume, and there is also another project with 12 beamers that needs a pick-up
- TODO: How many volunteers are required?
- one to two
- TODO: How much time is required?
- 2 days (depending on amount of help can go back to 4 hours)
- TODO: Provide instructions on how to set up the installation on the event site.
- unload parts
- sort pipes depending on colors
- build a lot of smaller parts when possible
- like 5 pointed stars for the "sun" globe.
- start assembly and lifting and connecting
- add canvasses
- lay down electrical wiring for the leds and blacklights and ( maybe) beamers.
Howto: Teardown
- TODO: Throw/give away?
- Maybe give away: design made for re-use =D
- TODO: How many volunteers are required?
- at least one, maybe two
- TODO: How much time is required?
- estimated 2 days build up and testing
- TODO: How much waste in cubic meters is produced?
- NONE... wel ok, a lot of 30cm pvc piping is left over but that won't make it to the event: cutting 75cm out of 4m parts... I might be able to optimize better, but there's a lot of pie involved.
