Definition of team Cohesion
Team cohesion exists to enable people to be together harmoniously.
It ensures an event without conflicts, mutual respect, and openness to each other's insights and challenges.
In practice, in most non-immediately threatening situations, team Cohesion is deployed first before Security is called in.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain & ensuring the Code of Conduct (CoC)
- Responsible for silent lounge at the event
- Confidential advisors (in Dutch: vertrouwenspersoon)
- Escalation & de-escalation channel
- "Manager on duty" > If someone shouts: "I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER!", then team Cohesion is on it's way
- Makes sure that everyone is excellent to each other
- A safe haven for people who are overworked / overstimulated / in need of emotional support
