Team:Accessibility has a focus on accessibility and inclusivity features for everyone working, volunteering and attending WHY2025. Everything from working with the web teams to ensure accessible information, to the transport team to make sure you know where you are going, the Team: Productiehuis to make sure talks can be seen, heard, read and understood by everyone and of course with Team:Cohesion to make sure everything goes right!

No Simon herds train people, talks about autism and queer theory at work and sometimes even does a bit of project management.

This will be their first Dutch camp but not their first festival. Working with Nancy and the accessibility team to make WHY2025 the most inclusive and accessible festival ever!

Yes NancyBeers (Nancy) plays serious games for a living. Which is not that far off from social engineering.

This will be her 5th Dutch camp, and after being an Angel and Speaker, she now will help organise. Together with Boekwuurm she's the Chair of Ifcat.

Provisional Team Members

Organisation for WHY2025 is starting to ramp up. We would love to have some more team members so we can make this the most accessible event ever. So if you know anything about accessibility, inclusivity, D&I or just making events work that bit more smoothly please get in touch! Everything from WCAG expetise, to planning transport, on site signage, AV induction loops, you name it, we need your input! Therefore, we are collecting names of those interested in being involved in Team:Accessibility with the intention of arranging a 'kick off' meeting.

Projects

This will contain a list of the work we are doing, who is leading and which other teams are involved. It is a living list and will grow and change over time. If you can think of something we should be doing, please get in touch!
