Begin your shift

Begin you shift by checking the WHY2025 Shuttle Drivers Signal channel for any updates. If you are not in this channel, you probably need to participate in the shuttle briefing first.

You can register for shifts and sign up for the briefing via Volunteering.

Key Pickup

If it is the first shift of the day or there was no prior driver on you shuttle

If there was an angel shift before on your shuttle

  • check in the WHY2025 Shuttle Status Signal channel where it is located. (Drivers should send updates when they arrive/depart) this should help you to figure out when the vehicle arrives at the camp.
  • the handover happens at the drop of point in the Parking area

During your shift

  • drive the shuttle to deliver the Shuttle Service - ie. between the parking and station
 * if the shuttle is "on demand" you don't need to go anywhere, until there's a request
  • please report to the WHY2025 Shuttle Status Signal channel every time you arrive/depart.
  • if you're stationary in the parking drop off for any length of time, please make sure the vehicle is charging
  • if the battery status gets to 25% or below, post in the channel and return to parking

Information for passengers after dropping them of at the camp

  • Please give newcomers directions to the check in tent where they get their QR code scanned and get the badge

End your shift

  • to keep track of the charge status of the vans, please report the current battery status when you handover

if there is a following shift on your shuttle

  • you should be able to hand over the van at the drop of on the camp.

if there is no following shift on your shuttle

  • park the van at the parking area on the dedicated shuttle slots making sure it is plugged in and charging
  • after parking lock the van and drop the key at the LHQ (https://map.why2025.org/)
  • if the LHQ is closed you can drop the keys also at HQ (https://map.why2025org/)
  • if HQ is also closed, give the keys to heaven and ask them to send a runner to bring them to HQ later
