In this page we try to consolidate the current information you need as a driver. For visitors check out this page here: https://wiki.why2025.org/Shuttle_service

!! Please keep in mind. We try to keep this page up to date, but the most recent information is still in the signal channels !!

Begin your shift

Begin you shift by checking the WHY2025 Shuttle Drivers signal channel on any updates. If you are not in this channel, you probably need to participate in the shuttle breefing first.

Car/Key Pickup

If it is the first shift of the day or there was no prior driver on you shuttle

If there was an angle shift before on your shuttle (they are numbered also on the angle system)

  • check in the WHY2025 Shuttle Status signal channel where it is located. (Drivers should send messages there if the are starting a tour) this should help you to figure out when the car arrives at the camp.
  • the handover happens at the drop of point on the camp. File:Shuttle-dropoff.png

During your shift

  • please report to the WHY2025 Shuttle Status signal channel every time you start a tour.
  • to use the shuttle you need to have a shuttle ticket. Please ask the passengers if the purchased one. If not, they can scan the QR code of the shuttle sign in the car window.
  • there is _NO NEED_ to properly check for the shuttle ticket. We all trust each other. We just ask as a kind of reminder.

Information for passengers after dropping them of at the camp

  • Please give newcomers directions to the check in tent where they get their QR code scanned and get the badge

End your shift

  • to keep track of the fuel status of the cars, please report the current fuel level of the car after you shift. (in quarters should be precise enough e.g. `shuttle 3 fuel below 1/4`)
  • the cars should have plenty of fuel so refueling won't be required often. Please coordinate in the drivers signal channel if needed.

if there is a following shift on your shuttle

  • you should be able to hand over the car at the drop of on the camp.
