From 2012 to 2017, she served as a Member of Parliament in the Netherlands. She is a passionate advocate for (digital) human rights, privacy, and inclusion. Since 2018, she has been the chair of COC Netherlands, where she works to advance LGBTQ+ rights. With a background in both IT and social justice, she continues to be an influential voice for diverse communities in the public debate. In her professional role, Astrid is also Public Affairs and CSR Officer at ESET Netherlands, where she works at the intersection of cybersecurity, policy, and social responsibility.</div>
