Redlizard has asked sysadmin to give everyone access. Please send email to team sysadmin. It has raw data to work with, such as liquicity data.

Review feedback on map

Hackalot was fun. Overall impression was ok. Our contingency plan for if things go wrong was well received.

Most important feedback:

Some parts of terrain will be available earlier than others, we should keep this in mind (e.g. for heaven and kitchen).

The location we have selected for heaven will not fit Heaven, and certainly with all the things we wanted close to heaven. The drawing was too scale, but was very tight, and we want a bit of margin around the tents (e.g. 1.5m between the road). Glenn recommended building heaven next to the water mains (the hills).

There are other constraints to heaven. We want it close to other infrastructure, and it needs big backspace, so this is a difficult tradeoff.

Productiehuis had doubts about the feasibility of the stage in the ricefields. This is becuase we need a road to every stage. But this area will be accessable by truck from the east side.

Other comments were about closing the bike path. Team Terrain has consensus that it needs to be closed. It needs to be closed for the contingency plan. There's also sanitation and campers on the bike path.

Team Bar wanted a fourth bar, at the food area. We have no plans to go there with water. We haven't provided running water to the food vendors before.

Team NOC wanted a datacenter next to the utility closet to the east of the utility hill. They wanted a half container. We will consider this, but they can extend the fiber from there if that's convenient.

Plan session to process feedback

We don't want to do a mapping session now, we will arrange one soon. We will try online.

Start work on permit map

For the permit map, we need to produce a "good looking" map. It will be best effort, but not final.

It needs to look good, and should include surrounding terrain. We will import this from public data.

It should include details like fire extinguishers, fire lanes etc. to make it clear that these are subjects we are thinking about.

Team permits has already produced traffic routes "photoshopped" onto google maps screenshots. We (team terrain) don't have strong opinions on this, we will take over from them.

Glenn also gave feedback that the Wagenweg is not suitable for truck traffic coming from the west. There might be weight limit, and it comes from a small map. Liquicity seems to have backstage traffic coming from the west, not sure if that includes trucks. The route onto the wagenweg is fine from the west. Uglyhack or Rox will have a look on the road for weight limit signs.

Basically to make the map we need to import publically available data, and draw some annotations on there with firelanes, emergency routes etc. Uglyhack and Redlizard will work on this in the next month. Exact deadline, week of 25th of oktober. We will not be able to provide WIP until pretty close to deadline.

Infrastructure

Gina has been playing with using QGIS with a POSTGIS (postgres + GIS tooling) database. This will allow multiplayer mapping, with different layers with different permissions.

Tent/buildup schedule updates

Meassen is cheaper and more flexible than the other supplier. It will all be Alutent (so more suitable to muddy ground)

Big tents will generally be white, but the 5x5 will be many colours.

We will invent names for the tents.

The plan is that the tents will arrive the 30th and return the friday.

Jeroen wants to start on wednesday. We can start on Wednesday, but it eats into our margin of error. If we tell the supplier they can deliver on wednesday, they will be annoyed if they can't build all the tents on wednesday. Boekenwuurm will discuss. We need to be careful telling the supplier that they should not have full buildup capacity.

Because they are Aluhall tents, the floors will be raised. This means we will need ramps for accessability. These will also come from the tent supplier. We need to have close look at tent entrances.

Rox will take a close look at the order and compare to the MCH2022 plan.

Budget

Team Terrain doesn't think about tent costs, or power and water.

The big items on our budget

  1. Road plates, includes walking plates
  2. Fences arround terrain (will be much less than plates)
  3. Bridges
  4. Hay for throwing on the mud, worteldoek

Other constructions (flamethowers, towers) are not our budget.

Small costs, like software licences, are small

Flatterband, hi-viz etc. is warehouse. We should put them on the budget @ 0 euro, to make clear that someone will check.

External road signs (Buko stuff) has an entry on the budget.

Bridges are expensive. Three will be shared with liquicity We will need one Layher bridge for next to the familiy area One bridge into the triangle

We need to find supplier/specification for bridges and road plates. There are order of magnitude differences between these.
