Welcome to all the teams that are here. Thank you for already socializing. There is a small agenda:
- PL Update - what happened since the last orga meet
- 60-second updates - TED-talk style updates from all teams
Thank you to Bitlair for hosting this orga meeting. Also, thanks to EventInfra, located here at this venue.
PL Update
- PL started last week, and the early nerd tickets sold out in one day.
- We now have more than 1111+ tickets sold.
- Thanks to everyone promoting the event! Over 1000 tickets were sold in just two days.
An update was sent to the Orga mailing list. If you have questions, come and talk to Henry about what happened. Most of the team members have stepped down for now.
We received a major donation from Limelight Foundations; the first grant is secured... and more grants are in progress.

- 90% of the ROC Planning work is completed.
- We want to put up a complete working system during the fieldday on April 5th, so everyone can check if it's OK for their team.

- We are working on creating shiny decorations.
- Vacancy: We need someone to work on the look and feel of the Silent Lounge.

- Surfnet is sponsoring us; their POP is in Alkmaar.
- We aim to use the existing FTTH fiber as a darkfiber, possibly through Solcon or Fiber Noord-Holland.
- Backup option: Relined, but we need to run a bunch of fiber.
- It’s complex, but we remain optimistic.
