  • Badge.Team member has been promoting WHY2025 at HOPE in New York.
  • Badge.Team has an events overview where we will be present and always will promote WHY2025 camp.
  • looking for a way to communicate between teams in support of Team:Communication activities.

Team: Content

  • getting CfP ready, pretty much spell check
  • needs pretalx to be set up by Sysadmin
  • aligning w/ Milliways re: tent for content
  • working on longer*form blog

Team: CTF

  • We filled our Wiki page with info
  • We provided our budget request to Team:Finance
  • We are in contact with Team:Sponsors about a potential CTF sponsor

  • draft budget submitted to finance
  • waiting for location from team terrain
  • waiting on sysadmin for showing workshops/talks
    • Dany mentioned pretalx will soon be able to show community content (at least: that is what Team Content wants and is looking into)

  • If anyone has contacts / suggestions for foodtrucks, please let Coen know
  • Coen has to talk to kato or others to find out what to do
    • Netsmurf offered to have a chat about MCH2022

  • Requesting all teams to fill in their budget sheet and send to finance

  • Working on documents for permit, plans for safety
  • Firewall and Nancy went to Liquicity build*up to make notes

  • Initial discussion/knowledge sharing started
  • Next Moebelhaus meeting planned for tomorrow (18.07.)

  • two weeks ago had a meeting, lot of nice ideas
  • planning is on wiki

  • no team lead yet
  • one was interested, Nancy will reach out

Team: NOC

  • getting started (wiki, mailinglist etc)
  • working on getting a fiber connection via provider already on*site (Solcon/FiberNH) and SURF (via InHolland). Hopefully fully sponsored?
  • budget mostly done
  • on*site network planning can get started once first maps (terrain layout) are there
  • question: are we reusing mch2022 mailing lists, or creating new ones?

Team: NUTS

  • with the field visit more info about the transformer and other electrical cabins
    • was positive about state of grassland after rain
  • planning to run everything on fixed cabling from transformer instead of generators
  • possibly supported by batteries
  • have a rough sketch to start planning power infra, but need first suggestion of map from team terrain

  • No lead yet
  • Manduca will handle this team ad interim

  • Discussing Terrain layout.
  • Planning first meeting (Aug 1st)
  • Slowly organizing Boels order.

  • Piiindakaas would really like to get in touch with Twi or other POC members
  • same people who did SHA17 & MCH22 have formed team again

  • request for teams: share how many radios you need for your team on the wiki page for ROC

  • Henry suggests to look at MCH2022 for estimate on how many radios are needed

Q&A:

Nancy: does sysadmin need help to ease pressure? Lea: best ask Wouter (Xesxen)

Piiindakaas: we're using OpenProject for overall planning, and teams can also have their own planning on that system if they want. Reach out to me if you want one.

Dave: volunteered for permits but busy until September Nancy: ok, thanks

Dany: if you have cool people you would like to see, reach out to team content's mailing list! (content@lists.ifcat.org)If you already have contact, or just saw someone cool. For team cohesion: if you have ideas, please reach out

Dave: EMF had artists doing lots of exhibitions, was cool, will we have something similar? Dany: suggestions like this are very welcome, please reach out!

Lukas: is communication from outsiders to orga and teams? e.g. mailing list does not seem to get new content? Nancy: some mails have been sent

Redlizard: only 60% of teams have mails listed on wiki, 40% IRC. That's too low, please fix it
